Ingredients
  • 2 cup split peas
  • 2 red potatoes
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 large white onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tbs maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
  1. Roughly chop potatoes and onion..
  2. Place a large pot on the stove on high heat. Add potatoes and cover with 4 cups water. Bring to a boil
  3. Boil for 10 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 20 minutes,
  5. Once all ingredient are soft (check split peas to make sure they are done), CAREFULLY add mixture into high speed blender. Do this part in batches, I did 3 because blended potatoes make my blender hard to turn.
  6. Store in fridge up to 1 week.
