Before we get down to the delicious food in this post, I wanted to share the turkey I “adopted” this year for Thanksgiving, meet Jackie! Jackie is happily living at Farm Sanctuary and my virtual adoption allows Farm Sanctuary to continue to provide a haven for not only turkeys but other farm animals as well. I encourage you to check them out and see all the amazing things they do for these animals. Gene Bauer, Farm Sanctuary’s founder, is an amazing man with great vision and is a personal role model to me. I hope you can be as inspired as I am upon browsing their site. But now, on the the post!
I am a planner. I plan things. I plan all things. I plan what I’m going to wear the night before work, what I’m going to eat each week, what the weekend’s festivities will be, I even plan time to be free of plans! That last one is how I stay sane. I have also learned to go with the flow when plans fall through or I just get too lazy/tipsy <–it happens. That, my friends, is the key to being a successful and happy planner.
Ironically, this post is not for the planners out there. This post is for the rest of you guys, those of you who live by the seat of your pants, those of you who are currently freaking out because you do not have any Thanksgiving recipes for Thursday. Don’t fret, I have your back. With the help of my blogger friends at Finding Vegan, we have enough recipes for your Thanksgivings for years to come!
See how being friends with a planner pays off sometimes?
Below you will find a delectable list of everything from entrees to sides to desserts. The best part is they are quick and easy! I figured if you are looking for recipes last minute you will probably cook them last minute too so I only added time sensitive recipes So go pour a glass of wine (or beverage of choice), grab your smart phone camera (or pen and paper), and take some of these recipes down! Get to it!! Also, for the planners reading this out there, these recipes can easily be added to your repertoire, they look amazingggg and could be whipped up in a cinch!
