Vanilla Matcha Latte

Ingredients
  • ½ c water
  • 1 c soy milk
  • 2 drops vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1-2 tbs coconut sugar (could also use liquid stevia)
Instructions
  1. Place sauce pan on stove on medium heat. Add water and matcha powder, stir until combined.
  2. Once water is warmed add soy milk, sugar, and vanilla and stir. If you like a sweeter latte use 2 tbs sugar, if not then 1 will suit just fine. Heat latte until it just starts to bubble. As soon as you see a bubble take sauce pan off the stove.
  3. CAREFULLY pour mixture into Vitamix or other high powered blender. Blend on low and slowly turn to medium speed. Let blend for 30 seconds or so, until frothy.
  4. Pour into a large mug and enjoy! Be careful though, it's hot!
